People dedicate themselves to a mission when it expresses their own values and gives them a sense of meaning and purpose. For these reasons, my work with organizations falls in three main areas:

- Surfacing and articulating missions, programs and activities that engage those values.

Some Ways I Work
Depending on the project, sometimes my consulting amounts to my simply loaning my personal expertise and experience in conversation and through talks to leadership; sometimes I facilitate group or team conversations; and sometimes I gather a team around me to execute a longer-term project.
Group or team facilitation and coaching: A methodology to surface individual values, synthesize them into a single team mission, and facilitate a group towards completing mission-centered tasks.
Stakeholder engagement programs: Includes environmental lifestyle programs at many organizations around the world and “Be The Change Week” for the 10,000 New-York-based workers in the United Nations system.
Mission alignment trainings: Includes stakeholder trainings in areas dear to client organizations, such as on diversity, equity and inclusion.
Values-based Communications: Includes helping clients understand their stakeholders’ cherished values and synthesizing those values into communications.
