Maybe some of you know this feeling lately…
Because I am a minister, I stand outside things.
I witness the babies and the businesses.
I witness the world turning.
I witness the partnerships and the families.
It is the loneliness of the minister.
The minister stands outside
In order to steer and to know and to help.
This is participation by non-participation.
It is the loneliness of the shepherd.
If you are like that, don’t be angry.
You are blessed with a special role.
Is it more special than the sheep?
The sheep define the shepherd.
There cannot be a shepherd
Without the sheep.
