Increase Your Fulfillment To Success Ratiofeatured

When it comes to having a life of fulfillment, one problem is that we are taught that success means to have the “right” job, the “right” bank account, the “right” relationship and the “right” stuff.

Two things are wrong with this:

  1. Fulfillment comes not from what we have but what we give–all the science proves it.
  2. What is “right” for us can’t be defined externally because what is right–when it comes to fulfillment–is actually what is authentic. And that is defined internally.

All that means that you can be totally successful in societal terms and have all the things while also being completely unfulfilled. You can have worked your rear-end off to get somewhere and find out it’s not really where you want to be. And THAT SUCKS.

But you can fix it and it’s way easier than you think.

All it takes is to give a little bit more of your time to what you really value doing in ways that help the issues or people you really care about helping.

Hint #1: You don’t have to make dramatic changes. Just incremental changes. Choose an action you will take today. An easy one. Like, say, packing an apple for a snack instead of chocolate. Or looking at the webpage of a non-profit that intrigues you. When you’re done, choose the ten minute action you will take tomorrow. Day in, day out.

Hint #2: Find a small community of people who support your changes. We are social animals. They say birds of a feather flock together. But also, birds who flock together tend to end up with same feathers–people who hang together tend to act the same. This is why recovery programs work. So find a group of people who are trying to make the same changes as you (I have such the perfect group for you to join if you want! See below).

Those two things are all it takes to begin increasing your fulfillment to success ratio. Honestly! It’s the way I have done it and the way I have coached so many clients and members of my mastermind groups to do it. And the amazing thing is, if you make the effort, not only to you make yourself happier but you help the world.

Spots in my own curated community to help improve your fulfillment to success ratio are running out… but there is still time. If you have been reading my emails, you know I’ve been recruiting for my How To Be Alive Mastermind Group. It’s a group of like-minded friends who gather by video conference once a week for 20 weeks to support each other in discovering and following their truths. It’s now nearly full but there are a couple of spots left.

You don’t have to be part of my group to increase your fulfillment to success ratio, of course. All you need to do is follow the two hints I’ve given, day in and day out. Being part of the group just helps with the day in and day out part.

I hope this all helps.

PS If you skipped to the end, I’m in the final stages of recruiting a group of like-minded friends who gather by video conference once a week for 20 weeks to support each other in discovering and following their truths. Previous participants have really increased their fulfillment to success ratio. Want to be part of it? Want to know more? Click here to read about the details and apply.
